Janne Hietala

Janne started his own consulting company at age of 21. With Arcusys Ltd, a Liferay Platinum partner, he’s been leading the company’s Liferay business development since 2008, during which Liferay has gained tremendous growth in Finland. Since 2010, he’s been spearheading the Valamis development, turning Liferay into one of the most versatile learning platforms in the world. Valamis was selected the best application in Liferay Marketplace in 2013.

Janne was selected as a Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2012.

Janne works with Liferay and Valamis key customers to deliver a great online learning experiences for organizations using Liferay by leveraging most important learning technologies like social learning, mobile learning, OpenBadges, Tin Can API, gamification and learning analytics.
